Southern Californian Aris Janigian, author of two novels on Armenian topics as well as several others, will speak about his work with poet and editor Susan Barba in this event organized by the Tekeyan Cultural Association Boston Chapter and cosponsored by the Armenian General Benevolent Union New England District. Topics to be discussed will include the Armenian Diaspora; Armenian-American identity; the form(s) of the novel; representations of the West (particularly California); the relationship between memory, art, and trauma; and nostalgia and post-memory. Admission is free and a reception will follow.
